February 20th is Angelina Grimke Day!!!
Angelina Grimke was born into a southern plantation owning family in the South, but as she grew old she realized how immoral and wrong everything her family was doing was. She and her sister both left and moved North to join in the Abolition movement. She was a huge voice for this and at the same time brought light to women's rights as well. Thank you Ms. Grimke for all of your contributions and inspiration! Please click the link below and learn more about Angelina Grimke.
