Mr. Douglass was and is to this day a huge influence on many people in the world!!! I can't even express how much he has done for civil rights, social justice, and true inspiration for people to fight for what is right in the world. He was very involved in the abolition of slavery and did a lot as an activist to help bring light to the injustice. He also proved to the ignorant that he could be an African-American man that was educated, intelligent, and eloquent which white ignorant people didn't think could be possible of someone of African descent. He proved everyone wrong and really showed the world for generations to come what it means to stand-up and fight for RIGHT and to never give up!
