February 11th is General Chappie Day!!!
General Chappie was the first African-American promoted to the rank of four star General in the Air Force. He was also a Tuskegee Airmen and was one of the pilots that trained the 99th squadron that went to fight overseas in World War II. He didn't get to see action until the Korean War and continued to fight and move up the ranks even into the Vietnam War. General Chappie is a true hero and an amazing example of no matter how much the odds are stacked against you, you can reach for the highest level and obtain it. A huge salute to a TRUE American Hero!!! Thank you Mr. Chappie for all of your contributions and inspiration! Please click the link below and learn more about General Chappie. :-)
