I did not learn about Mr. Cole until today actually and all I had to do was find a video of him dancing and that was it!!!! All I can say is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Not only did I see the influence of dance steps that I see in contemporary dance today, but stuff I have never even seen while watching other hoofers from that time period as well! He performed in New York at some of the hottest clubs of his time and performed with Cab Calloway and there met his partner Charles "Cholly" Atkins and they performed some great routines together. Mr Cole later went on to appear in many TV shows and movies. He is most well known for his scene in "Dirty Dancing". Thank you Mr. Cole for all of your contributions and inspiration!
