March 14th is Abdias do Nascimento Day!!! Abdias do Nascimento is an Afro-Brasilian writer, scholar, activist and politician. He did a lot to help the Afro-Brasilian population of Brasil and bring to the light what need for education and recognition of this population of people. He was always trying to make the original heritage from Africa was not forgotten and there was equal rights for the Afro-Brasilians.
