March 10th is Jim Valvano (Jimmy V) Day!!!I am upset that I missed posting this on the 10th, but I had to make sure that it did get posted ASAP, especially after the documentary story I watched last night on ESPN. I always knew that Jimmy V was very important and influential person in basketball and for cancer research through his organization, but I never really understood how important of a man just in general he was and still is to the world!!! All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!!!! Learning more about him now, I consider him to be the Vince Lombardi of basketball! His spirit, humor, confidence, and most important love has touched sooo many people and he showed the world that no matter what situation is thrown at you, you never give up!!! EVERYONE has the potential to be great and achieve great things!!!!Thank you Mr. Valvano for all of your contributions and inspiration!
