January 26th is Angela Davis Day!!!Angela Davis is a social activist, scholar, and author. She was wrongfully imprisoned in 1970 and fought very hard even while imprisoned to prove her innocence and show how corrupt the government and the system is. She is a huge voice in activism and has brought light to many injustices in the world and especially the plight of black people and women here in the U.S. She was very influential during the 60's and 70's, but today still works her ass off to teach and bring light to the never ending cycle of injustice!
