January 12th is James L. Farmer Jr. Day!!!James L. Farmer Jr. was a civil rights leader and activist. He founded the group C.O.R.E. (Congress of Racial Equality) and he also was the organizer of the Freedom Ride as well. A very influential man and definitely deserves recognition for all he did to bring racial equality to the USA.
