This is a blog mostly focused on educating and teaching about great, important people, events, and celebrations in life. Teaching some history and TRUTH that you might not see or hear about other places because people don't want you to know or care about these people or the history. I will also throw in some reviews and misc things every once in awhile, but the main goal is to educate and then also learn from others myself :-).

May 19th is Malcolm X Day!!!
May 19th is Malcolm X Day!!!
One of my favorite people throughout the civil rights movement and one of my favorite people of all time! What I truly love and admire about Malcolm is that he always spoke his mind and spoke about the truths that no one wanted to hear. Most people in this world are happy and content with just believing what the masses believe and the white-washed history, but Malcolm told it how it was no matter what anyone thought about it! Even Malcolm himself did make some assumptions that he later found to not be true of everyone, but in general everything he said had a purpose and meaning to get at the very soul and heart of the matter. Unfortunately I really believe he would be very disappointed in most of what has happened since his time, which really hurts my heart. He did sooo much to bring about REAL change by being REAL and that is not what came out the movement in the end because we still have most, if not all of the same problems to this day. They are the problems in the same way, but they are still there. So, on this day we celebrate Malcolm X and all he did to help, but to also try to make more people aware of what the original goals were and to try to reinvigorate this to solve some of the problems today! Thank you Mr. X for all of your contributions and inspiration! Please click the link below and learn more about Malcolm X. :-)

"I have more respect for a man who lets me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil." - Malcolm X
