May 12th is Tony Hawk Day!!! 

Some people may not think Tony Hawk is an important or inspirational figure, but too many young people and even some adults he is and rightfully so!  Not just because of his amazing tricks and advancements of Skateboarding, but because he is just a great guy!  I have personally not had the pleasure of meeting him (which I hope changes someday soon), but I know people that do know him and he does amazing charity work and is always respectful and nice to everyone!!!  He is a great role model for all young people.
